The University of Glasgow is consistently rated in the world’stop 1% of universities, has more than 25,000 students and employs more than 6,000 people. The current £130 million investment programme will enable the university to expand over the next 5 years.

Firemark were commissioned to service our extinguishers, which are spread across a vast number of University buildings. With such a large estate we face a number of challenges in the management of our fire safety and whenever we called upon Firemark they offered an excellent level of service. When they offered further assistance with a fire safety provision for the Universities expansion we were more than happy to utilize their expertise.

Firemark took the time to develop a programme tailored to the university’s specific requirements, which included extinguisher, hydrant and dry riser testing as well as risk assessment and consultancy for extinguisher placement in the new facilities. We now have a reliable and efficient partner in the overall management of our fire safety.
