Fire doors save lives, so it’s vital that they are correctly installed and maintained.
Fire doors act as a barrier from smoke and fire, offering essential protection to escape routes.
But the best manufactured doors can be seriously compromised by poor installation or lack of maintenance. Even the most trivial (and often, invisible) defects can render them ineffective. It’s why it’s a legal requirement that fire protection systems are regularly checked and maintained, including fire doors.
Fire doors must comply with The Regulatory Reform Order 2005.
To keep you compliant, we’ve established a national Fire Door Inspection Service, comprising NAPFIS-certified engineers who will inspect and maintain your fire doors to the highest standards.
Once completed, they’ll produce a detailed report which can either from the basis of a quote for remedial works by approved Firemark subcontractors, or which you can hand over to your in-house maintenance team for action.
